The following two photos have been censored in a photo competition overseas. No reasons were given and several attempts to make the last photo available to a small group of people who might have appreciated failed.

Up, please!
Rarely photographed alive - how amazing that the eyes have hooks. This crab is living a cryptic life, being covered in yellow-green algae. Size is about 10mm. I promise everyone that they won't see the animal even if they know where it is and that they will even struggle to locate it when it moves. These crabs are not rare at all but I only ever notice them in certain water conditions when they are lacking growth to hide in. This time, I collected a single Halophila ovalis leaf and had no idea that this animal was part of it. Even after a while of focussing on other things I was struggling to locate the animal again. Note that this was in a small container with lots of contrast and the weed probably being halfway consumed by the animal. It was released after photographing and I assume it survived the publicity stunt.
